More about me…

Hello, I’m Emma Steadman. I am married and have two amazing grown up children. I love reading ( and am often to be found at a book club), the arts, and colourful clothes/ hair. My interests are varied. I’m just as likely to be seen at an Iron Maiden gig as I am at The Globe Theatre.

I’m based in North Essex/Suffolk and Norfolk.

I am a qualified, professional celebrant holding a NOCN National Qualification Level 3 Diploma in Civil Celebrancy.

As a member of the International College of Professional Celebrants, I work within a professional code of practice and network of professional celebrants.

I also happen to be a creative therapist with a doctorate, and a lecturer. I have over 30 years’ of experience working with people of all ages and in a variety of statutory and charity settings. I offer warmth, genuine interest, listening, creativity, and presentation skills to the celebrant role.

There is so much joy and meaning in working as a celebrant with individuals, couples and families. As a therapist, I am very aware the value that marking significant milestones in our lives can have, and of the importance of having the freedom to do this in a personally meaningful way. This is why I love being a celebrant and combining knowledge of symbolism and ritual with creativity to facilitate personalised, meaningful, and memorable ceremonies.I put the same level of care and attention to each event, however formal, informal, large or small.

It would be a privilege to create and deliver a personalised ceremony for you, whatever the occasion .
